Jim and Barbara are pleased to invite you into their home and hope you enjoy yourself while here. Jim, a native Floridian, is a graduate of the University of Florida and attended George Washington Law School in Washington DC. before going to work for the U.S. government. Barbara, a native Memphian who lived there until age 24, attended Memphis State University, now known as the University of Memphis. In 1961, she moved to Washington to work in the office of Tennessee Senator Estes Kefauver. While in D.C., Barbara and Jim met, married, and began their lifelong adventure together. They lived in several countries abroad and several states in the U.S. Their family includes three of the world’s best and brightest children and five grandchildren of similar ilk; if given a few weeks notice their attributes might be partially described.

Barbara and Jim retired several years ago to Florida, but decided in 2006 to set out on another adventure---a last hooray so to speak--- and moved to Tennessee. Holly Tree Manor is the result of their desire to do something entirely different, and meeting lots of people and making new friends will be the biggest bonus of this new adventure.
